Sandra Bozer.
An artist who likes to paint.
Sandra studied drawing, design, and art history at Bowling Green State University in Ohio some years ago. More recently, she began taking art classes at the AAAC (Ann Arbor Art Center) and the BBAC (West Bloomfield and Birmingham Art Center). She thoroughly enjoyed classes in color theory and acrylics (taught by Leslie Masters), watercolor (Chris Unwin), pastel (Jim Markle), drawing, head & figure clay sculpture, plein-air painting, and still-life painting (Diane Rath).
However, after taking a portrait workshop from artist David Weaver of West Virginia, Sandra began to focus on portraiture in oils, satisfying her enchantment with the human face. She joined the Portrait Society of America and regularly attends their annual conference.
Sandra continues to study portraiture, taking workshops from talented, successful portrait artists: Larry Blovits (Michigan), Robert Maniscalco (South Carolina), Michael Shane Neal (Tennessee), and most recently, Dawn Whitelaw (Tennessee) and Everett Raymond Kinstler (New York).
